What is your primary product or service?
Auditing, accounting, pension consulting and administration.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I majored in computer information systems and accounting, and got bored working for others using "hand-crank" and then electronic calculators. I started a computerized accounting SaS in the 1980's and enjoyed bringing accounting out of the stone age.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We hired the best, pay the best, and charge reasonable fees.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Are main location in Peoria reflects our firm values of family, hard work, and civic pride.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We are located in a suburban location, easy to get in and out, without all the complexities of parking decks and ivory towers.
What type of payments do you accept?
We abhor VISA and major credit cards, as a useless waste of client's money and a poor example of improper financial planning and debt. We bill our fees and expect payment by check or cash at the time the service is rendered. Commercial accounts my have 30 days to pay recurring services.
Which areas do you service?
We service commercial businesses 80% and individuals 20% in the areas of tax, accounting, trusts, pensions, auditing, fee based financial planning, and consulting.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Jim Bodtke, CPA is the founding principal of the firm and the firm administrator is Linda Martin, CPA. There are nine CPA's on-staff, most with Master's degrees in accounting, tax or auditing.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open 8 - 5 daily, with Saturdays and evenings during tax season.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"Gosh, I didn't know that! No one ever told us that before." - we hear this everyday.
